Questions

Questions about pricing

How much does medical billing cost with you?

3 to 5% of the payments your practice receives on the claims we manage, with a $500 monthly minimum. There's no setup fee. You'll get your exact rate in writing after the free audit.

When does the $500 minimum apply?

When the percentage would come to less than $500. At 5%, that's below $10,000 in monthly payments, and at 3% it's below about $16,667. In those months your effective rate is higher than the percentage, so it's worth checking if your practice is small.

Do you charge a percentage of patient payments too?

Your agreement says exactly which payments count, so you can check it before you sign. It covers payments on the claims we manage.

Is the audit really free?

Yes. There's no charge, you don't have to hire us, and the findings are yours to keep.

Can we leave if it isn't working?

Yes. It's month to month, so you give 30 days' written notice. Your data stays yours, and your agreement covers how open claims get handed back.

Is percentage pricing allowed everywhere?

No. It depends on state law, payer contracts and federal rules. Some states restrict percentage billing, and Medicare and Medicaid limit percentage fees when a billing company receives the payment. Under our model, payments go directly to your practice. Where a percentage arrangement doesn't work, we'll quote a different structure.

Who pays payer and state fees?

Your practice does, directly. That covers things like credentialing fees charged by payers or states.
