Coding support
Medical coding support that reads the chart
We check CPT and ICD-10 codes against the note and take questions to the provider. We won't guess at a code or code a visit up.
It's free, and you can keep your current biller

Coding errors can cost you in both directions
A doctor who bills a 99213 for most follow ups, out of caution, can lose revenue the notes would've supported for years before anyone looks. Overcoding is a different kind of trouble, because it creates audit risk and repayment exposure. Plenty of practices have some of both and can't say how much.
A short review shows whether you're looking at a pattern or an isolated mistake. Patterns tend to be easier to fix, since it's often one template or one habit.

What coding support includes
- Code and documentation checksWe check that the note supports the codes on the claim.
- Modifier and bundling reviewWe look for the common edits that lead to denials before the claim goes out.
- Provider queriesThe provider gets a specific question about a specific note, and the provider decides what the note supports.
- Pattern feedbackIf the same issue keeps showing up, we summarize it so the documentation can improve over time.
How it runs
- 1
Pull a sample
We review a sample of claims against their documentation.
- 2
Ask the provider
Questions go to the provider with the note and the reason attached.
- 3
Report patterns
Patterns go in your report, along with the changes we'd suggest.
How this is priced
Coding support can be part of your billing or a separate scope, depending on how much review your practice needs.
How our pricing worksCoding support questions
What people ask about this
Are your coders certified?
No. Our billing reviewers are experienced, but they don't hold coding certifications. We'll tell you who's doing your review and what experience they have. If your payer contract or policy requires a specific credential, tell us at the start.
Will you assign codes from clinical notes?
Not by default. We validate the codes your providers select. If you need more than that, tell us how your practice works today and we'll define it in your proposal.
Who makes the final call on a code?
The provider does. If our billers see a possible mismatch, they send a question with the note attached, and the provider stays responsible for the documentation.
