Seeing patients before enrollment clears

You hire a nurse practitioner to start in June, and the application goes in that spring with one small error on it. The payer may not tell you for weeks. Meanwhile she's seeing patients, and those claims have to be held or might not get paid at all.

And approval isn't the end of it. A revalidation date can pass without anyone noticing, and the first sign is often a payment that stops coming.

Credentialing questions

What people ask about this

Can you guarantee a payer will approve us?

No. The payer decides on enrollment, and some panels are closed. We can keep your application complete and follow up on it.

How long does credentialing take?

It varies a lot by payer and state, and it often takes months. We won't promise a date the payer controls, and we'll report status as your agreement describes.

Can we use credentialing without your billing service?

Yes. It's a separate project with its own fee.
